Which resist is least important (for PvM)

I went out and spent all my gold for my macer =P

I have Jackals, Mace & Shield, Rune beetle carapace, Fey leggings (human ones), Stormgrips, a ring that gives me +dex, int, macing, poison resist and 13 DCI, snakeskin boots and interchangeable bracelets

But no matter what I do, can't seem to get all 70's in resists, and can't afford to go buy anything else now =P

I usually end up with 40 - 44 DCI and around 25 LMC, but I'm not sure which resist is less useful

Any helps please?

*edits* This is best I could manage so far (with protection on) 68/64/70/66/70
Or I can manage 70/70/70/60/70 - but not sure I'd want poison that low?

It realy depends on what and where you are hunting.

They are all really important

But i would say on average poison is the least important closely followed by cold. Some creatures do direct poison damage so check your hunters guide before taking the chance. Almost all undead do cold so that really is an average to deal with.

Really you only need resists at sixty. Well. I guess fire should be 83ish to be corpse proof, but poison isnt that big a deal.

So poison is least.

Unless you try to tank a Dreadhorn, then you want 70s in all! (especially phys/poison)

in pvm I would say you need 70 70 60 60 70

I completely agree With Kayne's analysis. Your suit is fine. 70s is overrated. As long as you cover physical, fire and energy you are fine. Perhaps poison too for some of the high end bosses.

Cold is typically the lowest resist I will have on a suit.

Wither is frost based and Essence of Wind is cold based. If you aren't worried about those I wouldn't worry about it too much.

70's is the maxed for resist but remember casting monsters will debuff your resist with curse and other spells. Curse will lower all your resist to 60 (but not below). If you have 60 or 70 after a curse spell you'll still be 60.

As long as your resist is 60 plus you'll be good.

with 60 cold and poison u will do ok with most mobs.
