Which pets fly?

In the belfry, there's a trick in which after being pushed off, a greater dragon can fly back up on top of the tower.
Turtles can't do this because turtles can't fly (yet another way in which turtles are disadvantaged compared with greater dragons).

So, which other pets can fly? Can a lesser hiryu? How about a skree? or a Saurosaurus?

Only dragons and drake type pets can fly. None that you mentioned. Other pets flap wings but do not fly.

Invis, log off and back on when your pet fall off the roof.

As for your spoiler... most people don't bother getting the feather to go up on top anymore... just get a flying pet to fly up there and attack.... no need to ring that dinner bell.

I just love it when the other player(s) try to get up also and ring the bell while you are up there and it causes drakes to appear on the roof with you.

Which annoys the hell out of me. Why make the matter take twice longer by not putting someone on the roof? Having one person on the roof, friended to the others' flying pets, can get the other pets up there so much easier.

All not getting the feather does, from my experience is multiply the chance of a pet going wild by a magnitude or more, as getting them on the roof typically requires trying to call them over from one side to the other, and LOS to the top being crappy.

Well I find with just a couple people getting the feather is smarter... but that's me... with a big group however find it to be a waste of time.

With decent pets and without discord, it takes less than three minutes to kill belfry with 2 tamers.

I went with a small group with a good Sampire one day. My wyrm was the only flyer. By the Sampire got up top, my wyrm had the dragon down to 45%~.
