Which is more profitable?

Which is more profitable when it comes to Tailoring *or possibly any skill*; making items for bulk orders, or making items and just selling them back to whoever will buy them? I'm trying to save up the coins for a full sized house and I want to make sure I'm going to make the most profit for the time and effort put into it. I have a few characters each with their own specific crafting skills they work on, and right now I'm on my Tailor. I want to make sure she's making as much profit as possible.

if you just sell pieces back to an npc they will eventually stop buying. The cheapest way is to get cloth bods and fill them and turn them in and request a new one everytime you turn one in. save the leather and larges for later, maybe if you get some cloth larges fill those as you get more cash for them. Cloth is free, if you are willing to shear sheep, or you can buy a normal dye tub, do not change the color and then as you get reward cloth, color all of it with your dye tub and recycle it back into filling bods. though you might want to save the rarer cloth colors

You wont earn too much money while training a crafting skill. For training tailoring ...
Depending on your actual skill you should have a look at oil cloth. Those need only 1 cloth to craft and can be cut into bandages afterwards.
