im trying to do bods and i was wondering which bods i should keep and which ones i should turn in for more bods?

are the runic hammers below agapite good enough to try and get or should i just turn in all small bods that arnt part of a large bod to get agapite runic hammers and above in?

All hammers are good for gaining skill or getting imbuing resources. I first check if the SBOD will give a POF before filling the large bod then its just a trade-off decision. Most hammers probably have a good resale value.

All runic kits at minimal level are great to get first property added for "free", which I use to save on relics. There are no throw away runic tools anymore.

go http://uo.stratics.com/content/basics/bod_smithing_calc.php for helping your decision. There is also a link to tailoring there.

Most people have Bronze Hammers as the low end of the "keep" range, due to their usefulness in creating things for imbuing.

Check the Blacksmith FAQ above for a list of all the BODs that produce Bronze Hammers or better.

Since the low end runic hammers can reach 100% intensity, they have their uses.
Many burn through a dull copper runic when trying to make an item worth imbuing.
It saves on the high end imbuing ingredients.
For example say I want to create and imbue a weapon with high SSI
To imbue this weapon with SSI would normally cost relic fragments, tourmaline, and essence of control.
Instead of imbuing this, I grab a dull copper runic hammer and burn through it hoping that one of the weapons it produces has max SSI already on it.
Then take that weapon and imbue the rest of the stats that I want on the weapon.

The reason you use a dull copper runic for this method over say a bronze runic is the amount of properties each runic puts on. DUll copper runics only put on 1 or 2 props where bronze runics impart 3 props which can give me a combo of properties that I don't want on the weapon.
