No, this ISN'T about trying to get something for PLAYERS; this is about the GAME.

So... now that the "account center" migration is (mostly) behind us, and the focus can get back to the game itself (and, hey, I'm still here! thanks to the poor souls in Support who were caught in the middle of that mess), do we know if there's any plan for giving this GAME some LOVE?!? :heart:

For instance, as someone pointed out, the Japanese website has lots of cool stuff; the US one is... minimal, at best. I went and poked at "MyUO" on the Japanese site -- that is COOL being able to see your characters and stuff. On the other hand, our MyUO is permanently, temporarily down. What the heck? I mean, c'mon folks, are you trying to deliberately kill this game? You can't even see most of BASIC GAME INFO on the official website. :thumbdown:

Heeellllloooo, Marketing?!? Advertising? ENCOURAGING people to try out the game? I'm looking mainly at you, EA, as I assume YOU pull the purse-strings. Sure, it's not bleeding-edge graphically, but it's an AWESOME game, even today. It has a style, and it is one of the few games out there that ISN'T just about the OOOOOOHh-look-at-our-graphics (but our gameplay sucks) like so many. It has DEPTH. It has VARIETY. And, heck, it has 14 years of added content! (And a dedicated community! People have a level of LOVE and dedication for this game that you don't see often. ) :thumbup:

C'mon, EA. C'mon, Mythic. SELL this thing!!! PUSH it on people to try it. You've got the 14-day free trial; USE IT! What good is it if people don't KNOW about it?!? Is it out there and I'm just missing it? You've seen what happens when people like it... there are people who've been paying for FOURTEEN YEARS. Geez. Can you beat that?!? It's a CLASSIC; it's got name recognition; it's FUN; etc. etc. :party:

Show this game some LOVE, EA/Mythic, :heart: and keep it going another 14 years!

The UO Herald site has been pathetic for the better part of a decade now. Its sad, really. MyUO stuff hasn't been accurate in years, nor did it show a great many wearables.

The Japanese website puts the US version to shame in every respect. From graphics design to pure functionality, and especially prompt accurate communication. Hell, they even post aspects of the publishes which we are completely left in the dark about.

Jeremy tried her best to update the playguide, but that completely stopped when she departed. Since then, Mythic not only dropped the ball, they kicked it under the sofa to let it rot with their stash of carrots.

If possible, Mythic should turn over the Herald to the Japanese team due to their superior CS abilities.
