I have read so many many posts where GM's just flat out dont do anything, canned responses to obvious problems they are either not reading the page or they do not know what they are doing or both.
My guess is most clearly do not know what they are doing. Possibly EA has put in GM "Bots" that reply canned responses to certain keywords?
Either way, with this recession our country in is right now and my state (Michigan) is in 50th place with unemployment or 1st place I guess I should say, people are killing for jobs here, myself included.
I would be more than willing to be a GM and work for minimum wage! I could work 12 hour shifts at minimum and would be able to help players by actually sending a response. Hell I would go so far as to catch resource bots while talking to people and helping with problems.
So, is there an application anywhere for GM's? I would honestly by myself be better than any GM out there, because I know the game, know what the mechanics are what is and isint bugs, I am a people person, and I would actually READ pages and RESPOND even if I cannot help them.
Customer service for this game has been at an all time low for quite some time and I for one see this as a way to fix the problem, by hiring AMERICAN PLAYERS who already know the game. There are so many out of work people or even people with disabilities that prevent them from working in different jobs. I know I would be willing to work for minimum wage and would be dedicated and excited about my work as a GM. And I think most players would be. Isint it time EA decided that this is the best idea to improve customer service in game?
Would you make a good GM? Would you work a 12 hour shift from your home pc helping people in UO? I know I would.
(Please no replies with suggestions on how to "pretend" to work as a GM from home and not really do it. This is an honest to goodness suggestion)
I would do it, would you?
