K at ant lions now, figured there might be a place that dropped more at a time.. wipping vines, do they drop them? Gotta find some thorns and check that out i suppose!

why waste the thorns on whipping vines?? just go into lady mels blighted grove.. .they spawn there naturally.

In Tram the earthies in Shame will drop 1-5 fertile dirt. You can usually find many just laying around with the dirt still on the corpses too. Nice thing is you can get arty drops since it's a nonvirtue dungeon.

Collect the jewels, gold, and mandrake you can get your gold for pots and ingredients for greater strength at the same time.

Yep, fastest way is dexxer in Shame. Oh, and this MAY be obvious - SO obvious that it may not occur to you - take a load of empty plant pots with you and fill as you go - the dirt weighs 1 stone per, remember!!!

Another way to get the stuff is to shove green thorns into dirt. It'll pop up along with traditional magery reagents, you'll get 12 units on average. Catch is it's a three minute wait time between thorns, so you might consider cycling characters.
