Just opened my account back up when i saw that they had started a new story line and was wondering where Ricardo was.

If you didnt do the first day where do you find the first book at? Or clue or whatever you look for. I talked to ricardo and he said somethign about fishing at the warf and he said something about the telescope in moonglow.

Okay, the first clue doesn't work for me, but there's a warehouse in East Britain down by the waterfront - it's just over the bridge, behind a tavern. It's full of vases and crates and has three doors. If you enter by the western door, there should be a treasure chest in that room; double-click the chest and you will get a lamp.

If, like me, the chest doesn't appear for you, then the lantern from the housing quest also works.

Put the lantern in your hand, turn it on and go to the ruins west of Papua. They're a sandstone ruin with a few low-level undead monsters hanging around. If you've got the lantern lit, a book should appear in the middle of the ruins. Read it, then go to either Crag or Lt. Dan for the reward.

As for the second day: Go to the Moonglow telescope and head due south. There's a very narrow strip of land jutting out into the lake. The book is right at the tip.

ok so on napa thers no chest to get the lantern , and I dont have a lantern from the housing quest. So does this mean im screwed?

...yeah, you and me both, I'm afraid.

It only seems to be some people on Baja (my shard) who can't see the chest, whereas the whole shard on Napa seems to be bugged. Mesanna was fixing Europa earlier, apparently, so there's a chance that she'll get to Napa and fix it too.

I'm trying to get hold of a lantern that I can borrow for the few minutes it'll take me to get the book. If Napa doesn't get fixed, that might be what you have to do too.

Edit: However, I was still able to get the second day's reward (the telescope one.) So you probably should be able to as well.

I had to patiently wait near the 1st book on Baja until someone with a lantern came to get it. the book showed for me when another person had their lantern shining on it.
