They should make it 100% fire damage 1-handed weapon, with night sight. Even if it's (obviously) not a pvp artifact, but at least for roleplaying purposes.

The developer who created the quest was kind enough to listen to our suggestion during beta testing to put spell channeling on it. However, it was pretty obvious he was pretty swamped at the time. I don't know if he's even around now. :-( So I doubt it will ever get any better than it already is.

Just be careful if you take it out hunting. It may be one of those items that take damage if you have it equipped when you're being hit by monsters/characters but the durability isn't visible. You just might break and disappear when you least expect it to.

I earn way over 500k per hour in Abyss, sometime it's challenging and i can choose spawns that i like or switch to other spawn if i get bored. If i decide to kill worms by myself i will get bored in 5 minute, so if i wanted that reward, i surely would pay 1 mil easy, cause it save me 2-4 hours. (but reward is so crappy i wouldn't want it even for free).

You just don't get it. If an item is boring to get not everyone will do it. If it takes 2-4 hours to do then 1M is cheap.

1 mil for an essentially worthless item that anyone can get. You don't get it. It's a rip off, it doesn't matter if people pay for it, it's still a rip off and thus not cheap.

Time involved or not, for the life of me with all of the nightsight items in the game, I see NO reason in paying 1,000,000 (or really even 10,000) gold for a torch simply because it has spell channeling and a Name.

Maybe if they completely redid how lighting and nightsight worked ingame it would be worth it, but right now... meh. Maybe if I had EVERYTHING ELSE and needed one of those, but other than that... pass.

Surely what an item is generally worth to a player who wants to buy it is the deciding factor of what it's worth, as opposed to the valuations of people who don't want the item.

I have a use for one, and 1mil seems a reasonable price to pay, taking into account the time it takes, the combat requirement, and my desire for one.

2-4 hours? It only took me like 15 minutes on a warrior.

Risso, the RNG was kind to you - I got 3 of the notes in the first 10 minutes of trying the quest - and then ran into a 4 hour dry spell before getting the ones to complete it.

I was so bored, I started quoting Tremors for motivation ("Bart, be advised that there are at least three more 'motherhumpers'..."
