Where do we get yeast?

There was a note suggesting orcs had different types of yeast as loot. I cannot confirm..........

A brief foray in Orc valley has gotten me 28 bottles of yeast. Break down is:
6 x - -
9 x -
3 x + -
9 x +
1 x ++

The quality of the yeast affects success chance. The one ++ came from an orc lord but it's not clear at this time whether that was significant or not.

Oh, and the account I was hunting on is not upgraded yet.

I'm not "upgraded" (nor do I plan on it anytime soon) and have aquired some as well. Two ++'s of orc lords.

And guess what?

They. Don't. Stack.

I did a little test in Orc Dungeons and the stronger the orc the better chance for the better yeast. Only got + and ++ from Orc Scouts, Orc Bombers, Orc Choppers and Orc Brutes. Maybe i was lucky but i see a patern.

They also drop on the Orks aboard pirate vessels. I've had 1 each from 2 ships so far, both single + yeast.

Come on DEV's get with it! You know darn well we hate stuff not stacking! Why is it everytime you do a new expansion you make stuff that doesn't stack???

Because no expansion/booster/pack/large publish is ever complete or professionally done.

You need the rustic theme pack

If collect the parts and have players with the required craftsmanship, can't I just make a distillery? I thought the theme pack was the shortcut to buy the items.

The theme pack contains the distilling system, without the pack I don't think the items will appear on your crafting menu.

I'm asking all of these questions because I've temporarily retired two accounts to pay for a much needed memory upgrade and can't make the items right now, but I didn't want to buy a distillery if I could just make one.

So... are there any crafters out there who have not purchased the Rustic Theme Pack or Grand Bazaar who have successfully built a distillery and started making beverages?

I think that there is some confusion about the difference between a theme pack/bundle, and an expansion/upgrade. *Edit: mainly me.

*Edit: Turns out they are upgrades... The Bazaar/Rustic theme packs are not game upgrades. They are goodie collections.

Not to mention the fact that if you try to use a still thats already crafted... it will tell you to go fly a kite if youre not upgraded. Same with everything new theme pack related, training dummies included.

Ah, that's the answer I was looking for. Sorry for doubting you Petra, but you didn't seem that sure in your previous post.

Well, I don't mind paying $10 to get the distillery, I just didn't want to pay and find out I didn't need to.

So, perhaps EA should have called this a Booster Pack to stick with their own lingo.

Anyway, thanks for the help Petra, love that write-up on the Distillery, did you do that?
