Where did all the rare wood go?

Personally, I think the devs keep all the trees hidden on a secret server, inaccessible to us to hoard all the wood for themselves... *darts eyes back and forth*

Or that could just be a crazy theory LOL. But seriously, I havent seen a log of it since the change. Anybody know anything about it?

I've found a few frostwood and bloodwood trees. But it took hours upon hours to find them. Then after you chop them a few times they disappear.

My strategy is to just pick an area with a two beetle-full of wood and harvest it over and over. By the time I finish the second run, the first run area has respawned. Every few weeks a rare wood spawns in my path. I definitely can't gather rare wood at the same pace as back in the days when we all had our runebooks to the same set of trees we all competed over, so community collection donations are a lot more painful, but it means I don't have to cross paths with scripters or other people as determined as I was to get some frostwood that day.

I hate to ruin Maplestones joke and also I thought was one of the reasons Maplestone went on Hiatus and is now at best a partialy retired player is that all the rare resources are on a randomizer wheel that basicly putts a random resource if whatever resource you are farming in youre pack now.

Meaning there are no spots for rare resources anymore and any spot farmed has a chance to give you any color resource.

No, I was opposed to the change initially, but I really have warmed up to it and even now prefer it this way.

The main reason for my hiatus was that I was very upset at how the old dev team was treated at the end of last year (and the consequences it had for the game)
