Where di the sims go?

When my wife logged in just now, some of her sims are MIA. A sim that was created several weeks ago in EA-Land doesn't show up on her log in screen and she can't scroll right or left--only shows three existing sims...

Is this a client software problem on her machine, an EA server problem or what? Anyone else have this happen?

The advice that I have seen when similiar things have happened is to ditch the current shortcut that you have to TSOClient.exe and create a new one, being sure to modify the target line, so I'd say try that first and see if it helps, if not then I'd send a bug report to the e-mail address that they gave us. Avatars show up on the SAA screen in order of their age, so if she has 3 older sims than the one that was created a few weeks ago, that would be why they arent' showing up with the buttons being disabled.

Have you added "-CSCity:EA Land" to the target on your shortcut?
If you went to TC3 while EA Land was down. You need to open with the Patch instead of the client to update back to EA Land.

Actually, this is a brand new shortcut she's using. I had to rebuild it because for some reason when she first tried to login earlier, the original shortcut I built acted really hinky.

Also, we have never played in TC3...so that shouldn't be an issue. The "-CSCity:EA Land" argument is in the target line of the second shortcut we use.

Nevertheless, patching to TC3 and then patching back to EA Land, even without playing there, has been known to fix this particular issue in the past too, so that might also fix it.
