I BElive that a couple patches back they made parry base off dex? Not to sure but i dont know to many mages with dex over 25. Evasion seems to block magic spells fairly well. And that 40hp meteor swarm can be disrupted. Well I guess im the cursed mage then because i can rock a 45dci parry mage and get hit nonstop by everyone. Just belive me its notthat effective ive got 5 diffrent style of mages and none are even close to being over powerd

not to mention you can prepare and hit with the conc while moving. and like someone else said if you take damage you run and heal. I do it on my archer all the time. It is a normal part of the template. Anyone who claims a mage is not the hardest template to play is an idiot.

That's not near as bad as a 35 hp running shot with a magic spell behind it. A mage has to stop to cast the meteor swarm, not to mention it takes at least 50% more mana :/ If it were running meteor swarms, I might say that was a bit lame. good try tho

Dude Fl leadership isn't bring them to GL. We can only wish for that. Their first whine is the lag. Their second whine is the off hours. They will go to some other easy shard. Pwnt or tdr would beat their ass let alone bc rolling on in. I'd even go as far as saying BR or XV would kill them most days on the gl server.

You must not travel to many of the overseas shards. I have less lag on them than on GL's and I live in Wisconsin.
So, Yes, they do have the lag issue to deal with. Let alone that they will be on a distant shard, but also with the fact that GL's lags horrible the more folks that are on.

A colonization to the east coast is certainly something we would consider now that our player base has quite a few east coast players in it. I guess the question lightning is would pwnt leave yew gate to fight us? We have scouted GL just not sure that there is a guild here that will have the numbers to be able to put up a fight.

*laughs* I swear.. we do good at something - we must be paying someone... we do bad at something, and we get bashed. Every guild has on days and off days... we have learned to hold a harrower pretty well.. .that's all there is to it. Plus, we did get lucky 3 of those 5 times with the location.

Lightning - XV Can't compete with the Zerg that is FL.
FL - I played Sonoma with \P/ and the only thing you have going for you is zerg. We had 6 to your 20+ at Ice West, and you wouldn't even field fight us. All you could do was hold a choke point that had no strategic importance to the battle. It's a guild of strangle and pain spike spammers + resistless dexers. I look forward to your arrival on GL.

I have fought FL. To me, they are just another BC. One of my closest buddies is in FL... We stand up against BC just fine and dandy. Do we lose? Yes *laughs* but we win to! Plus, I'm all about having more people to fight. If it means having a second-BC on the shard... then, as I said in prior posts, bring it on!
This is not to infer that XV can hold up against anyone and everyone. We have our days that we look great, and days that we .... well we just don't LOL. Having said that, we love to see more people to fight

difference between West & East servers. You
can call it a "whine" if you wish but the fact
still stands that ping/lag is a giant part of PvP.
I know what I am talking about, I played on
GL since 1997 & I live on the West coast.. .
This year I basically started to play on the
West coast servers. I still play some on GL,
I just dont PvP there anymore because once
you play with lower lag you dont want to go
back to playing with lag.. .

I could care less about FL or its pathetic leadership. Speaking of which does she still lose her [censored] mind when theres a ev on her and noone dispels it?
Now on to the almighty BEST leader in all of UO, Tori. You come here acting as if you held BC together and then you left for better things. The fact is you left when our numbers started dropping like most other guilds have with people moving on to WOW and other games. You never went into fights unless u had overwelming numbers and our numbers were not what you could fight with and not cry over and over. We have more fun now a days then when you were leading in JD's absence. Do we have more numbers then most others. Yes some of the time. Do we raid outnumbered? Yes, something you would never have had us do.
You bring up the XV harrowers. Thats fine they showed up 5 times in primetime with more numbers then we have had on since you left. We almost took every one of them. But those pests TDR doing what they do best came in 3rd man and made it a two way fight. Which is fine its more fun that way. Fact is we still showed up undermanned at everyone of there primetime harrowers. Unlike all of our harrowers which are basicly boredom until its dead and we get to leave.
So yes XV can get numbers on once a week and do something other then that they are all 2nd shifters and do there spawns in the daytime. Ive even heard they are farming chesapeake and bringing scrolls back from there....
Honestly I'd love to see FL come here more insurance is always appreciated. Seeing as you have allowed a exmember of BC into your ranks even with his ittps showing. One can only wonder what your stance on them is...

Oh nonsense Juli. Under JD or Pecks leadership we never, ever even once failed to break a grinder against even or slightly greater numbers. Either one of them would have found a way and we always went on raids. God I remember 15 0f us raiding someone in destard and the fight lasting for two hours, the champ changing hands several times and like 3 major players and several lesser guilds being present. Ultimately we took someone elses champ and held it and killed it against several guilds who greatly outnumbered it. Pecks was leading and JD even logged off wow and came to join us if I remember correctly.

I predict, if they come, they will destroy the current BC fairly easily unless BC bulks up a lot to over power them. XV will take a bit more work as they have a third more members than BC but xv will fall too because the quality is lacking. No one else will even register on their radar.

Oh nonsense Juli. Under JD or Pecks leadership we never, ever even once failed to break a grinder against even or slightly greater numbers. Either one of them would have found a way and we always went on raids. God I remember 15 0f us raiding someone in destard and the fight lasting for two hours, the champ changing hands several times and like 3 major players and several lesser guilds being present. Ultimately we took someone elses champ and held it and killed it against several guilds who greatly outnumbered it. Pecks was leading and JD even logged off wow and came to join us if I remember correctly.

Malador you have no clue... destard was the only dungeon that we raided constantly... other than that if they had a decent grinder set up we wouldnt push the grinder because of the fact thats when most people drop armor... and JD or Pecks thought losing armor was worth it...

In fact, yesterday outside of Destard - we fought even BC... 7 v 7. We won round one, they rezzed up and killed us in round 2. The reason you don't hear about our victories and losses is because we don't need the "pats on the back" here on stratics by posting our victories. Neither does BC. That's one thing I really respect about BC... they win, they lose.. but they don't need the communities "good job" to feel they are good. We know that we become a cluster f.. on the field sometimes.. and other times we are "spot on". We are getting better and better each day. As you said Malador, you haven't been to any spawns or anything for quite some time. I have never claimed that XV is as good or better then BC or TDR.. but we try hard - we have fun - and that's all that matters. Also, we complete spawns repeatedly throughout the entire day.. prime time or not. We defend raids from UOD, BC, TDR, and as of yesterday (for the first time in a long time i've seen them outside of yew gate) PWNT. Do I scribble down the dates and times that we complete a spawn? No, I have a life. I'll leave that to you
Also, as for a post I saw in the past. We do spawns all day and night. We pop prime time spawns, fight off raids, and get in alot of fights. Including BC, we are the most active pvp guild on Great Lakes. So, say what you will about our guild - but without us - it would be one boring ass graveyard on GL.

Lighting dont get me wrong. XV has become a force over the years. you are out all over the shard as you would have to be with the numbers you have now.

2. you had a choke point to grind.

You have now made it your goal in life to attempt to in any way shape or form take down any guild member you felt had anything to do with you getting the swift kick in the ass. Your extremely mixed up. I am neither disgruntled or old. I am simple speaking truths I could and would not utter to the masses while in BC. I was perfectly willing to have a silent truce however certain members in your guild were not. I am not trying to take anyone down. If I want to harm individual BC I have tons of chat logs I think many would find interesting. I have chosen not to release them because while they would hurt BC they would hurt individuals in BC more. I have nothing against the individuals it would harm.
As for the rest dont flatter yourself. I did not even realize that was hydros house and I would not have been waiting outside hydros house anyhow. I actually like hydro and hold no grudge.
