I'm an old school player. Ive been a PvPer for along time now, but have become very bored with UO nowadays.

I do not have any blue chars that are worked up atm.

Just looking for good people that do things frequently on any East Coast shard, that accept reds into there guild.

I'm known through most shards in the US.

Anyone with info please just reply to this thread or ICQ me at 247801653.

Thanks,

Nate

Atlantic has a pretty good rp community. Their site is www.atlanticcommunityboard.com. While I don't believe most people there would be opposed to having a red in their guild there are a few issues you might run into. First off, most guilds would frown upon you participating in Yew gate type fights with your roleplay character. The other issue you will run into is while some rp does take place in fel, the VAST majority of it occurs in the trammel rule set. Soulstones don't have a limit on uses in a 24 hour period anymore, and if you don't have any of your own, they can be crafted. If you are really interested in the rp world, maybe that is your best option.

Also post on the Chesapeake Forum too. PaxLair is fel based. Many of their allies are fel based. Of course if an event is held trammel side your red could not go there but do check ! :) There are quite a few active roleplaying guilds on Chesapeake across the various facets. My alliance there would be Paxlair, but there are many others as well. Least you could xfer a chr. there or make a new one to check it out first.

While roleplaying is not as huge on Siege, it too is an option for ya. :) More folks sporting red names there, than anywhere some of those are in evil roleplaying guilds but ya can not transfer to Siege tho. That would be an entire starting over proposition with ROT for skill gains, one chr. per acct., but it works if UO has become boring then of course as always, Siege is another option.

I play both those shards, each are eastcoaster shards and both of those, are also worth looking into.

From my outside observations Europa has lots of very active RP guilds.

There are 2 that spring to mind most.

The cove militia and the vesper something or other(sorry forgot name). They appear to have a long running war going on.

I run a Mercenary guild on Atlantic (Infinite Mercenary Company [:8:]). Only those who are good at PvP can join (who wants a bunch of mercs that can't fight?), and you also have to be AT LEAST willing to learn to RP, though we prefer some type of RP background for you to join.

Every Wednesday night for training we're either hitting the Fel Yew gate, crashing spawns, or running champs of our own, just to learn to work as a team. We're also in the CoM faction.

For everything we do in game, we do get paid. While it's not much (you might get 250k-1mil for a job), it's still something fun. My guild has made about 40 mil since its inception a few months ago, and that's been dispersed between members.

RPers in UO are the very best.

Currently most of them are RPing entombment.

I'll also put in a good word in for the Atlantic RP Community and I agree with Lox. I don't think while most guilds would object to having a red in the guild, you might not get a lot of rp as most events/towns are in the Trammel rule-set.

Personally, I'd just use one of your non-worked blue characters. Most rp guilds on Atlantic don't have a mandatory character skill level to join and you can work them while getting to know your fellow guildmates.
