I asked about this in the town hall today, Pari said not until after they fix some bugs, but there will be more moves.

okay question, whats the difference between a move and the bullet train?...i set one of my AV sims to move to EA-land last night and it never moved during maitenence, so is that the bullet train that is out of commission until further notice?

Moves no longer happen automatically with maintenance, for the time being they need to be completed manually by the devs.

I'm sure we'll get notification here when the next move *bullet train* is scheduled to happen.

Bullet Train has to be done manually by the devs, it does not happen over maitenence. They were supposed to be running once a week, but I think they are working on a few major bugs before running them again.

there is an issue with bullet train objects breaking up into peices in ealand. last weekend we looked like a tornado had been throughthe city with so many objects broken up.

Until this bug is fixed I dont think they can risk another bullet train move

oh ok. is that why the devs havent posted at all in a few days?-if they did apparently I'm pretty good at being to lazy to check.

But how do we make the request to take the next bullet train (after they start again?)

It functions just like a regular sim move, mame, you just set your sim to move to EA Land when the option shows up as available again. I think they make it unavailable until they are ready to do the moves manually so people will not set their sim to move like a week before a move is set to be manually done and then wonder 'why the heck haven't I moved???
', but I haven't set a sim to move on the bullet train so I'm not 100% sure about that.

The option is there to move your sim to EA Land. Hopefully they'll be moved before the main cities shut down, but theres a chance they won't be.
