Maybe they will take another 2 to 4 years at it. Course now they are dealing with less staff so... I wouldn't get your undies in a bunch. It's likely to be awhile.

If that's the case... I'll be pleasantly surprised .... however given EA's track record... I am not holding my breath.

I've been over all this last week pleased with the Thanksgiving event.


*note*: If I seem harsh towards the DEV team and EA it's not anything personal... it's that I love UO... and I want it to be around for a very long time to come... so I tend to speak out when I think something needs addressing... and it's often because I very much care about the game, not because I want it to fail or because I don't like the DEV's...

It's because I have a vision of what UO could be or should be... and I am active in my community and while many of my friends do not post on stratics they certainly aren't afraid to tell me what they think... so often times I'm not just posting for myself... but for my community.

There's actually a Kilrathi base there waiting to be conquered. The bosses drop lasers and new vet rewards like ethereal Rapiers are introduced!

No seriously, I bought an expansion which included an inaccessible landmass couldn't it be there's some quest waiting to be discovered which gives access to those lands?

Well there 'should' be more to come, cos we're only at the 1st level of the Abyss. I believe somewhere Draconi said the same and that as time goes on, more levels will be unlocked!

I know it was stated that the next story arc would not start until after the holidays... and opening up new land would require a storyline or yeah... it would be lame...

Sooo... I'm hazarding a guess that Jan. or Feb. will be the start of how we get to those areas. I can wait for that... I'm more interested in what December will bring at present... the Anniversary was awesome... Halloween rocked... Thanksgiving too... They seem to be on a roll here... so come on Christmas!

You say it like it's the first time. UO has had inaccessible landmasses since the beginning. (and some that were SUPPOSED to be inaccessible, but were for a time accessed)

also up north of there around that volcano looks like land you could get to but no way to get to it *as far as I could find*.

I predict it to be opened next year at the aniversery (around september)

I hope it will be Fel zone when they release it and they will let reds go to Tram land but only will be able to fight warring guild and faction enemies in Tram zone.
