Has it already been stated how long the mini event will last? Thanks in advance
Its playing hell with the housework I gotta admit.Hopefully if it lasts a week over thanksgiving the Christmas content (hopefully) will be ready too. I LOVE these ingame events!
The wife will be happy. Our anniversary is the next day.It ends November 29th at server down.
Yes, the Cornucopia will continue to recharge forever but will never exceed 10 charges so you will need to empty them to get more goodies. Will the Cornucopia continue to recharge and give food after the 29th? Hope so.
Well let's just kill Al and take all his brushes.Yes, the Cornucopia will continue to recharge forever but will never exceed 10 charges so you will need to empty them to get more goodies.
You guys need to reveal all the nests before November 30th though as Al will go on some expedition and will no longer be able to give you brushes!
I did not know Al was in Fel.Well let's just kill Al and take all his brushes.Yes, the Cornucopia will continue to recharge forever but will never exceed 10 charges so you will need to empty them to get more goodies.

Perhaps if you spent less time engaged in your unrestrained trolling here you would have more time to play. Whaddya think?I hope it lasts well over Thanksgiving, I even have not had the time yet to look at what it is all about........
Sometimes I wonder where does people get all the time to play. I have a hell of a hard time finding brief moments in my hectic life in between all of the zillion things I have to do. Work, family, friends, reading, studying, keeping in touch with others and solving the problems that life, daily, throws at me and all of the rest.
I mean, it really is very difficult to me to find time to play and I am amazed at seeing how others may instead have it easy to find all the time they want. Sometimes they even can play multiple games !!! I can barely find the time to play Ultima Online, if at all, it is inconceivable for me to even think of finding the time for playing another game.
Oh well, I wish I can play games in the afterlife, hopefully I will have more free time than what I have in this real one.
Edit. Just noticed the end date seems to be November 29th...
Oh well, it seems these Events are not for me. Too short spanned for those who have zillions of things going on in their lives....
I do have a question for you Sakkarah_Mythic.
Recently a poll here on UHall showed that the average age of Ultima Online players, at least of those participating the poll, is well over teenager times.
I would imagine, therefore, that quite a lot of Ultima players -if that poll is a representative sample-, have a good chunk of their daily time tied up by their real life.
Would it then be possible to have these Events last longer to allow most of these players be able to enjoy the Events when their real life allows it ?
Thanks.
There are only so many ways to pluck a turkey.Would it then be possible to have these Events last longer to allow most of these players be able to enjoy the Events when their real life allows it ?
Thanks.
I believe two weeks for a holiday specific event is more than reasonable to give everyone a chance at participating at least one day. The Halloween event lasted 3 weeks. Plus it wouldn't make sense to still be celebrating Thanksgiving halfway through December.Would it then be possible to have these Events last longer to allow most of these players be able to enjoy the Events when their real life allows it ?

It ends November 29th at server down.
Maybe I am wrong but November 29th at server down would have been 4am cst this morning? If that is the case Popps have no fear the turkeys are still running around. It ends November 29th at server down.
Ohhh I got your punkin!Yes, the Cornucopia will continue to recharge forever but will never exceed 10 charges so you will need to empty them to get more goodies.

You got that right. I wish they would leave the turkeys in just so we can screw with em. Just put regular loot on them (alot lol) and leave em in the game. I'm gonna miss seeing them waddling by my house.Well, I have to say that I wish I had more time to play. I logged in today and found a giant turkey in the woods and thought "hey, wow, thats cool! Lets see what my dog can do with it"... Well, I got OWNED!! It was a hoot. Called on the hubby and roommate to come help and we all died more often that in Doom... We had 3 very high level characters working on this thing for about a half hour before we finally brought him down.
Granted, we may not know the tricks to bring them down quickly but it was fun.
Ooooh, sorry! Thank you!Sakkarah, in this thread, is the only notification I'm aware of![]()
thank youIt ends November 29th at server down.
Is it possible to have the Cornucopia given a small percent of a chance to give us a pucked turkey? If not now maybe later, so many of us want it for deco and also to trade for the blade at the butcher's shop.Yes, the Cornucopia will continue to recharge forever but will never exceed 10 charges so you will need to empty them to get more goodies. Will the Cornucopia continue to recharge and give food after the 29th? I think that Sakkarah meant that it would end late at the night of 29th, that is, actually, in the earliest morning of 30th.Maybe I am wrong but November 29th at server down would have been 4am cst this morning? If that is the case Popps have no fear the turkeys are still running around.I do agree with Sakkarah on how long these holiday events run. 2 weeks is plenty of time. IMO I think 2 weeks is to long. After the holiday is over it does not seem as exciting.
I'd like this as well.Is it possible to have the Cornucopia given a small percent of a chance to give us a pucked turkey? If not now maybe later, so many of us want it for deco and also to trade for the blade at the butcher's shop.
Hmmmm, that's not unreasonable. Though the ones obtained during the actual event should still be better than ones obtained afterwards. Is it possible to have the Cornucopia given a small percent of a chance to give us a pucked turkey? They do make the sound if you listen after a fight, they do the low base "bom, bom" hollow sound that you use a caller for. I remember because I knew a guy who could call them without a caller.Yeah, whoever did the artwork for the turkeys did a pretty good job. Just wished they made turkey noises. I figured they would have just used the old artwork from when they turned the champ spawn bosses into little turkeys.
I think that's fair, especially since it is a really useful item (although there would need to be balance between how rare the drop was and it's uses - if it was a very rare drop, a person wouldn't want to use it up and it'd become more for show than usage).Hmmmm, that's not unreasonable. Though the ones obtained during the actual event should still be better than ones obtained afterwards.
I would consider having a rare "raw turkey" drop from the cornucopia, same graphic. When turned in, it would give a blunted harvester's blade with a limited number of charges (say 500) before the blade breaks. This way the original ones retain their value and those who missed out have a chance at a version of it.
Whew! There are strange turkey ghosts haunting the area around my tower.![]()
That would be awesome!Hmmmm, that's not unreasonable. Though the ones obtained during the actual event should still be better than ones obtained afterwards.

did you try to rez em with your tamer? There are strange turkey ghosts haunting the area around my tower.![]()
Awesome I hope this goes in to effect.Hmmmm, that's not unreasonable. Though the ones obtained during the actual event should still be better than ones obtained afterwards.
