Whats up with UO.com?

Ive been trying to buy a soulstone for the last 2 weeks about every other day and about every hour or so for the last 3 days. All i get is a message that says (we are experiencing high volume of traffic try again bla bla bla)or something along that line. Now usually I would consider that this is because of the new items they are selling but ive had people i play with tell me that this has been happening to them for the last couple months while others have no problem at all. Anyone have any idea whats goin on? Its starting too **** me off because ive tried like 40 or 50 times over last 3 days.

I've logged on to a couple of my accounts through the Account Management site since last week, most recently a few minutes ago. No problems. Perhaps clear your browser cache, turn off the computer and try again?

Been able to for quite some time, so musta been a pretty good sized rock!

Anyway, make sure you understand these are full sized, reusable indefinitely type soulstones, not them 5 use frags!

You know, it's better to buy them directly from EA and all, helps out the bottom line for the game... but if they can't even get their online ordering working properly, just get them from other sources.

hmm thats kinda strange then. I know my browser cache is clean, but I ran my ccleaner anyway, just to be sure...................still not working.
So I i tried my laptop............well guess what same problem.
account.ea.com times out every time.

from what I can tell you can buy everything BUT Legacy tokens from Uo game codes. The legacy tokens are what gives you the high volume message. If they don't fix it buy from one of the 3rd party dealers, they are about a buck cheaper each at most of them anyway.

Is it possible that you or someone else set your browser options to not accept cookies from that site? If yes, that could be what's making it time out.

I wonder, why is it so hard for some interweb tech guy to come in and fix the damn site? How long have peaple been complaining that they can`t give EA their money? That is just rediculous. In a real job envirenment someone would have gotten an a$$ chewin and probably fired if something thats fixable, prevented the boss from gettin his/her money!

I could care less about phone numbers since it takes upwards of an hour to do something that normally takes less than a minute. I just don`t understand WHY it hasn`t gotten fixed. They are well aware of the problem....how hard can internet code be? Who`s responsable? Who needs a good talkin too and why haven`t they been talked to yet?

I mean if I was at fault for costing my boss money, I don`t know how long I`d be on the clock if I didn`t remedy the situation. Whats so different about this?
