Whats the point of "Glass Daggers"

I've had these for over a year now. Since the Moonglow invasion. Did I miss something since then? Were these supposed to be used to kill something?

That's funny, I came across mine yesterday and I was wondering if I should just hold onto it for deco.
Yes, there was some Shadowlord Faction thing with this dagger. It's over.

I found one also, I don't remember if it was loot in Ter Mur, or it was one someone else had discarded. I know there is a use for glass swords, but I was wondering about the daggers also...

Keeping it more as a novelty than anything.

There not from Ter Mur, you got them from the first Moonglow invasion event. With the teleporter that would take you to the Evil Moonglow or somthing. I believe you had to choose a side and you received a dagger in the process...oh well looks like i'll just throw them in the castle to never been seen for a year or two.

There was a mysterious moongate that appeared in Moonglow. When you step inside, this servant of the Shadowlords (Andrew was it?), asked you questions.

If you answered against the shadowlords you get insta-killed and sent your way (plus some boost to your char that would work inside the later Evil Moonglow).
If you answered in favor of the shadowlords, you got a glass dagger.

It was some faction event that used the dagger.
I've never used it so, i'm not even sure if it shatters. I have it as deco.

It shatters on the first contact made with something. They are just deco now that the story arch is over.

I keep mine locked down over a mirror of purification, makes a great looking athame.

Hmmm, looks like you all missed sumthin. They did massive damage when used on the "Real" Shadowlords. Got my guild leader a gem of immortality.
