If you had to pick one thing for the Devs to bring back into the game that we no longer have, what would it be?

Me: visitor & property bonus.

Rebuilding my lot every couple of weeks. I always changed it around.

I know you said one thing, but there are two things that I miss most. Payouts on money objects, and the price of building.

A wooden fence would have been perfect for the new house I built, but because it was $680 PER fence post, it was impossible to do.

I miss my cannon that poofed right after the first train arrived in EA-Land. I miss being able to bash my pinata and leave coins laying around for newbies on my non-money lot category property.

and.....
I miss my sims that were deleted because I quit and how I have to reskill them. For pete sake, PLEASE change the time out minutes to 30 or higher. I set my kitchen timer for 12 minutes 3 times and still didn't really need to green the skilling sim (mech). There is no speed up button like in offline. This is torture.

Getting banned for profanity and catching others in the act of doing same thing. I loved it when somebody would curse me out, I'd click the REPORT button and they would get suspended for 72 hours. Then 3 days later, they sign back on and you rub it in their faces "So did you enjoy the last 3 days as much as I did?"

The only thing that I miss is being able to build and rebuild at a whim. That was my favorite activity in the game.

I don't like the pizza payouts since they've hit rock bottom either. I didn't mind when they were lowered the first time though.

I miss my roof, quite a bit, lol.

So building and the roof would be what I miss the most.

I miss everything ! It's been 7 days since last log in. The new installation is not going well at all. *kicks castanet error*

If I could actually play, it would the ability to make a reasonable amount of credits.

Same here. I really miss all my casino buddies though.

I know, I miss it. I had to dig out my Sims CD's and install them to feed my addiction.

I miss many things, but the one thing I miss the most, is being able to bash a pinata at my home to give me something to do. The way it is now, there is just no reason for me to bother keeping it open to the public, needing to feed the freebie accounts...when I have nothing to do there or any way to earn money for the food it requires. I want money objects back on all types of lots, minus the dynamic payouts, like they use to be.

I definately miss the "sell back" feature and purchasing from the catalog. It's difficult to find stores that are willing to purchase used items. Worse yet, it's difficult to find stores where the owners/roomies aren't afk!

As a store owner I miss

1) Being able to buy an item just to show the customer, and see if that's the one he wanted - and if it was wrong, being able to sell it back for 100% of the price.
It's difficult now they are worth 0 as soon as they are bought.
"I would like the brown bed... The one that looks like mahogany... Not the most expensive one..." and so on


2) In a way I miss having 3 customers at the same time yelling about 20 easels, and stuff like that... It was a lot of action back then. But it was pretty stressful too.
I prefer CC to be honest.

3) I miss the Radio parties.
Back then we booked ourselves in a schedule at the radio station and it was an instant party when the radio people came over.
Now the radios just seem to wander around town and nobody even tunes in sometimes.

4) My friends I had back then


But overall I'm happier with the way things are now, than how they were a few years ago. Everything is improving so much now.

I absolutely do not miss calling out a number for every jam. It wasn't fun and if you got error you weren't sure what would happen, you got treated like some sort of beggar by the owners... Nah that I can live without.

Which would mean forgetting about "cash out" -- well, we can dream!


I also miss having money objects for any category. Always had fun with all the objects, whether as Gracie said -- to leave coins (I used to leave finished boards or potions) around for fun -- or as CntryGrl mentioned they were fun to use solo while tending house or building mazes.

OK, I have already messed up the "pick one" so I'll keep going. I miss the property bonus and wish it could be reinvented, if not as "top 100" then by some other criteria. I loved running tours, and the impetus for people to go on tours was knowing they would reap at least 1 hour of visit time. We had great times. These days everyone is so focused on trying to earn a measly living that doing something "just for fun" is pretty much a dead concept.

Waiting for an hour to get into your favorite house.

I miss tagging too as it was the only unpredictable player initiated aspect left in the game


I know you can lure but it's just not the same.

Miss the oldies. Miss the fun we had in the ol' days. With TSO life paralleling RL it's getting hard.

Thank god we don't have to drive to each others houses and use all that gas!!!!

TSO. I miss the goofy fun we used to have, the games we would have the creativity, money and freedom to play. Also miss my many friends from TSO who have gone. I miss the parties we used to have. So, the entire game as it was pre-merge is what I'd ask them to bring back.

I miss being able to purchase from the buy catalogue and sitting out a money object on ANY of our lots the most. I miss the FUN this game use to be for *me* even if it was pretty limiting. Now its become even more limiting and basically a boring and frustrating game to pay real life money to play. Payout money sucks, I had three of mine doing code, they had pretty good skill and made a nice big fat whopping SIXTEEN DOLLARS per round! I did three rounds and frustratingly stopped. I miss seeing a more FAIR cost of items both build and buy compared to the FAIR amount of money earned. I miss FAIR build mode costs too....3k for a pillar, for example, is not right. At least that way it was before you felt like you were really getting somewhere in earning your simmie way. Its really starting to look like this game is meant to fail...because its headed in the right direction to become many player's "Ok, thats the last straw..."

pfffft! Bite yer tongue, we don't wanna give them THOSE kinds of ideas LOL I know we can't drive but we don't want them charging us to use cabs and our cars for work, or for using the payphone LOL!

A functioning war game and spontaneous fun, games and interacting with other sims. Skilling and money making are too intense and important now to spend time on fun. In fact, tso is less fun than rl now lol.

Haha, Gracie! I used to love doing that, just to watch their reaction. Some would not say a word and scoop it up direct, others would wait until they thought I wasn't looking, and a few polite ones would say "Excuse me, ma'am, you seem to have dropped some change"
