What's the deal with shadowstrike?

I can use it successfully on monsters and such but when I try on other players I end up getting attacked too quickly and usually (if not always)get revealed while Im rehiding (hope that made sence).

Is there any one experienced with this special that can shead some light how to use it successfully in pvp type play.

getting hit by delayed spells? Or does your weapon have a delayed spell on it? IE: magic arrow, fireball?

Bo uses shadow strike as a main weapon against these super dragon tamers. It works great it is prolly what Rumpy said. Bo took out Sir Morder today with this combo, shadow strike a few times, his pet couldnt target Bo fast enough. Than finished him the deathstrike. Bo thanks him for the 20 focus, no clue what to do with such a jsv scroll. Oh well it can sit on Bo's floor for awhile.
