Most people put inscription on their template to get the 10% SDI bonus.

You also get 5% free elemental resist bonus while casting both reactive armor and magic reflection.

And...you can inscribe scrolls ?

90 or less inscription are not giving any SDI?

Correct.

At 99.9 Inscription or less you get no bonus, but at 100.0 you get 10% bonus.

not to mention using scrolls for lvl 7 and 8 spells you'll ever fizzle out of skill. nothing like spamming earthquake like a legendary mage.

if you want all SDI a mage can have when p25 comes you nedd gm scribe that gives 10% SDI.
P25 full SDI on a mage is: 120 int= 12% SDI, gm scribe =10% SDI and 15% SDI on items. That alowes a mage to have a total of 37% SDI. So scribe ill be more inportant to a pure mage after P25 becous you cant use more than 15% on items.

The bonus is 1% at 20, 2% at 40, 3% at 60, 4% at 80, 10% at 100.
