[Bowcraft/Fletching] what to use?

i am going to make a bunch of bows and not sure what wood to use for best results? ash for ssi? or frost for di?

the slower the bow or cross bow the more important ssi is personally I usually use ash for crafting for enhancing it depends on the mods already on the bow and type make sure you have 100 lore for the di bonus though! also the ash will give you lower requirments which can be important for the heavy especialy since it requirs 80 str without it!

If you have GM armslore and make it exceptional then you will get the 40 DI. Most people should be able to put together a suit that will have the other 60 DI.

would using ordinary wood be better to use because of the new imbuing skill with the new expantion?

I would say if your planning on do imbuing, work the skill up as fast as you can, and imbue everything you want imbued before they nerf the skill.
