To get regs for the potions,I farm mobs that drop it as loot, such as rat mages and liches. Bottles drop as loot on ettins. May be a bit boring to farm ettins, but it is better than mining sand and plus the ettins do drop 190-230 gold each. For the best selling potions,I have seen that I usually run out of the higher poisons and strength and stam potions. I like to use them on my pally/mystic dexxer for that extra hp and swing speed.Hehe. Potions. Ick. So much time spent buying up regs! But that does raise a good question. With the popularity of raised garden beds these days, which potions actually are good sellers these days if someone wanted to set up a potion vendor? And what's the best format for selling potions? I don't think kegs are all that popular these days, so I think most potions are sold in bottles that have been put in deed form. Correct? What kind of prices, though? Mining sand and making the bottles is pretty easy and cheaper than buying them so I wouldn't have to cover the cost of the bottles in the price, as much, if I went the route of crafting my own bottles.
The one fisher character I ever made has been on mothballs for years because she was the only good character I ever had on a house-holding account. I've heard too many horror stories about the fishing quests to want to mess with fishing again! But if I could be tempted into it, which pies sell and what's a good price for them?
That reminds me. Has anyone heard anything more from the dev's regarding progress on this? It really needs to get done, if new players are going to stick around....I think the problem you are going to run into is the lack of an in game vendor search feature. If your vendor will not show up on the third party search websites no one will find your shop...... It makes no sense the game does not have vendor search when third party people can figure it out.

You need to use heartwood to get HCI on the armour. However, when using heartwood you get random mods from it so it might take a while before you get the HCI.Thanks for the feedback, Shakkara.
I've never done anything with making wooden armor before, other than a long, long time ago making someone a suit of the Darkwood armor and they supplied all the expensive ingredients. So I want to make sure you're talking about just the "woodland" armor, imbued with HCI, dex/stamina and LMC? If yes, should it be made from any specific type of wood? There's no way playing solo like I do a lot of the time that I'd ever get my hands on the needed ingredients from peerless to make Darkwood armor, unfortunately! It makes me giggle to think of me trying to solo any peerless.
The HCI comes from heartwood and is random unfortunately, but you could just make armor pieces to see what property it pumps out and imbue accordingly. Damage increase, luck and even mage armor are nice to have too, if it is mage armor imbue some Mana Regen and LRC, otherwise stick with the dex/sta and LMC. Or even MR too as I really wanted that property as a newbie cause med and focus weren't high and neither were my leech capabilities.I've never done anything with making wooden armor before, other than a long, long time ago making someone a suit of the Darkwood armor and they supplied all the expensive ingredients. I'm contemplating opening up a shop on Balhae for returning/new players and would like some suggestions/advice on what to stock and suggested prices.

Yes, returning players who are making melee chars will potentially use dragon barding deeds. I know I do. And yes, there is a difference between exceptional and non-exceptional. Exceptional bardings absorb 20% of damage while non-exceptional only absorb 10%. It is worth it in my opinion to use an ASH to guarantee exceptional bardings. For basic uses (and even advanced for the most users), iron is the only material you need to stock regularly. IMO, 750 ingots for anything other than iron is not worth it. You can put your barding a on a non-bonded swampy, but i usually don't bother. I drop my swamp dragons in the stables a week while I work up supporting skills like 0-70 bushido, chivalry, and necromancy (for sampires).Time for a few more dumb questions, this time about dragon barding deeds. Does it make sense to offer them for sale in a shop for new/returning players? If yes, which type of metal makes the most sense for a character that's doing a lot of training and going to be taking a lot of damage, and what's a reasonable price? Is there any advantage to exceptionally crafted ones versus non-exceptional ones? Also, can you use them on unbonded swamp dragons, or is that just kind of a dumb thing to do unless you have gold to burn? I just don't have a lot of experience with using swamp dragons. I know how to make the dragon barding deeds, but have never really made a lot of them because I'm not usually sitting on a lot of extra ingots of any type.
