[Provocation] What to farm for gold while training?

I am rebuilding my mystic-mage to add provoke and discord, and am currently at 116 Music/100 Provoke/0.0 Discord. I'll start working on Discord once I max Provoke.

Any suggestions where to farm gold and train provoke at the same time? Just started provoking the Yomotsu Warriors in the mines, just looking for something to break the tedium. Suggestions?

As to which creatures are in your optimal gain range, you can refer to the Barding Difficulty calculator here: http://uo.stratics.com/content/skills/bardingdifficulty.php.

In addition, use the Advanced Search of the Hunter's Guide (http://uo.stratics.com/database/search.php?db_content=hunters). With the advanced search, you can simply input the target barding difficulty, and it will return a list of creatures within +/-10.0 of that number. Just above the "Search" button, there is a very useful "Sort By" pull down.

Another option is to use Bard Mastery abilities (http://uo2.stratics.com/skill-guides/skills-and-professions/musicianship/bard-mastery) to gain skill. Similar to spells, your chance to gain is when casting not during the continual effect.

I'm just learning how to use the advanced search features of the Hunter's Guide, and find it very useful. I've read all the Bard training guides, here and on UOGuide, so working with that knowledge. I'm just trying to break the monotony while training, and perhaps gain a bit of gold.

Thanks BG.

I suggest to use a Mastery to train Provoke.
That's a good suggestion, tried that, and it's boring! But still, I'll probably use it to finish off the last few points.

Right now, Tsuki wolves seem to be a good spot for discord training, not too dangerous for lower levels, and fast good farming. Inspire is great for the RCs.
