what to do about found full soulstones?

over the last couple years i have been amassing a fair collection of peoples full soulstones that i find at IDOC and such.

yesterday reminded me.... what the heck can we do with these?

i know some shards have library's set up for them so returning people can look for them.

but you'd think we would have something set up already for this.

like....... let us turn them in?
let us smash them into glass crystals.
let us smash them into new fragments?

i know its a waste to do that, but its even more of a waste to just drop them into the garbage can.

and i realize its probably too much to ask for us to be able to take them over.

I was thinking the same thing. I managed to grab 1 blue, 3 red and 2 green from IDOC houses along with a few frags. I guess only really good as deco.

I picked up 10 full Soulstones yesterday. I already have a bag of them somewhere. I think there's 5 or 6 in it.

I like the idea of a Soulstone Graveyard so if a player comes back they might find their soulstones but you know what, most players who let their houses fall aren't coming back. Yes some do but they can always buy more Soulstones from the UO store or claim them from vet rewards.

I think they should let them be wiped and allow them to be rebound to a new account. You could only rebind it if there was no skill on it.

easiest thing to do is make a book for them to list house name Owner name and the cords and server you find them for any returning player to claim them.

If you are on Atlantic and don't wish to keep them, please drop them in the mailboxes at Goodman's Rune Library or the Portal House next door.

I'm keeping them in a Soulstone Garden for those that might come back. I've got personal bless deeds as well in a crate on the top floor of the portal house.

ok thats good for atl, but what about all the other shards.

they need to bring in a system to do something with these.
say you drop a full stone in the garbage, you get a frag token back.
then the person whos account bound stone that was, they get a credit for a stone.

i dont know.
it seems like a waste.

such a important in game item to loose.

Perhaps tie it in with the honesty virtue and allow people to drop account bound goodies into the lost and found crates. Then returning players could go look for items that once belonged to them...

Why do you want something as a reward? The reward is the rest of the loot that you got on the IDOC where the soulstone was.

LS has a soulstone graveyard too, Airmid is building that.

I threw mine in the trash with reckless abandon on my way to 650-700k clean up points, none of which, of course, came from throwing away the tall glowing monstrosities.
