[Blacksmithing] What to craft from 0 - 40 skill on Siege

Anyone have recommendations on what to craft for Blacksmithing skill gains on Siege from 0 to 40?

Never played Siege but can you buy the skills from the smith NPC? If I had to guess it would probably be daggers

Dagger 0 skill needed then maybe Viking Sword at around 24 skill?
