What Monsters have loot that gives a lot of Enchanted Essence?

What can I hunt that will give loot that makes a lot of Enchanted Essence?

And while I'm posting, what monsters give loot that becomes Relic fragments?

Generally the loot from any monster that gives Level 3 Fame or above has a good chance to give Essence quality loot. As with any monster loot, it all depends on what you take, so you will still have to be selective, and take only EE quality loot. Even the toughest monsters can give you low intensity, single property items.

As for Fragment quality loot, you will want to look towards the toughest monsters (ML named, Paragons, Champions, Peerless, Doom Bosses) to give yourself the best chance to find Fragment quality loot. You will want a decently high luck, but even then there is no guarantee that you will find any.

I hunted miasma/swoops and any other mid-level monster to get EE. If you use the Enhanced Client, several of the mods will show you item intensity and allow you to add colors for specific properties. I just started collecting for unraveling any item that had an intensity of 200+ and got all the EE that I need. ONCE in a rare great while, I even get a relic.

I use the CC most of the time. My computer is single core and doesn't run the EC well in places with a lot going on.

I've powerscrolled up my characters and imbued them 70's suits last week. Maybe once they get trained up I'll have more luck hunting the ML monsters.

Vorpal bunnies average about 5 essence and 17 residue per bunny and 1100 or so gold.

Crafting Essence

Make dagers with gold ingots and arms lore. Toss in a DC, shadow, or copper hammer if you have a few to spare.

Or make regular bows using oak or yew wood, again with arms lore.

You get what, some 100 EE out of each runic hammer and 300 gold ingots? I'll trade you the 100 EE for the gold ingots and hammers. It takes me about 10 minutes to get that many EE from hunting miasma loot. I'm sure you have a lot longer than that invested in the mining ingots and BOD crafting to get the hammer.
