According to the post it says your points will be converted over. When I logged in I got the message that I had some 800 points that got converted over to this years. I didn't even know I had any points and I didn't even know about the tickets as I never had any. So no idea about the ticket part.
Long story short, I logged in with a message that my 2008 points were converted over. Didn't even do anything.

at least on sonoma, the Chest turnin from old cleanup is still there and looks like it still takes the Tickets. Might try a small ticket if ya got one and turn it into the old collection box. You may have to log out then back in to make it take affect
