A good question posed to me by someone last night, I think her name was A M A D I N K U S or something like that. So I got to wondering my self what exactly I am doing on Siege.

Well I train a few skills here and there.............



I like to Farm!



I really like to Farm !!


I mean I really Really REALLY like to farm!!!



I sit on my throne in Port Tyr and contemplate why some folks are decent and others are just plain trash.



A few of the things I do here on Siege, I am glad the Garden house and skill bank came back to me when I returned to UO I had forgotten just how much I enjoy the mind numbing working the raised beds. Hey a nice way to relax after a day of working the real raised beds on the real farm LOL. I also mine, LJ, Fish, Kill Merchants and Pirates, do T maps and MIBs, hunt the wolves, spend some time in the abyss, develop my alt character and try to RP them and stay in their individual characters. And in general try to be a honest and helpful Siege player. So I guess I am here just because I enjoy Siege and the 95% of the Community. And just do my thing and whatever activity strikes my fancy at any given log in.

Anyone else care to chime in with why they are here? No right or wrong answers since this is UO and you can be or do anything you want on Siege.

Lately since my most recent return, I've been training skills for the most part. I enjoy doing dungeon runs for stealables as well as the liberation of people's goods. Alchemy is the only trade skill I enjoy. I want to get in to gardening. I used to really enjoy PvP and I look forward to participating in it again once my training is complete. Oh, and I'm training very first Tamer.. ever. Never played a tamer or had any interest in it. But with the new tamer changes incoming, figured I'd give it a try.

As you tried to sleep, the anxiety of you not living up to Siege's expectations took full control over your mind, and the only way you could relieve this overwhelming stress, was to post this laundry list of non-sense; to somehow prove to yourself that what you do here is important...

Have 62 on my main acct at the island warehouse Can't fit all 368 stones into the bottom floor of the Garden House I keep a lot of duplicate skills like 120 mage 115 mage 110 Mage and 100 Mage and same with most combat and magic skills so I can fit different templates for different occasions together. Particularly my T hunter version that template gets real tight and being able to jewel up to 120 mystic helps a lot rather than being stuck with 120 and trying to work around it.

Why are people using a whole floor for Soulstones, I have mine in secure chests, that works fine.
This 4 King Collections Chests keep all my chars soulstones. They could had been in one chest.

I basically play when I'm bored these days and typically do gathering when I play. Might sail out and do some privateering if I need leather. The RL world warming up a bit has made my arthritis less bothersome so I'm wandering in more often though my left hand isn't working as well as it did last fall, can't spread my ring and middle fingers anymore screwing up my typing, so I'll be an even slower talker now. So much for my occasional babbles in general chat.

I tried the chest thing and just didn't work for me, works much better to just devote 1 floor of the 18x18 to them and 2 floors of the island warehouse to them for the characters with more than 10-12. the accounts with less than 10 stones I just keep in their bank box. Just easier for me to take the toon to a stone house and mouse around and the non flashing stones we know are the empty ones. LOL I wish we had Stat Stones as well would be nice to stone 125 Int and toss on 125 Dex to swap from mage type to fighter type.

368 total across my active accts 62 on my main acct, errr make that 380 now forgot I bought 2 more for Mongbat and 10 more for The Hate the other night. Decided to add tinkering and mining to Mongbat so I didn't have to keep logging in a crafter toon to make mortar and pestles and scribe pens. And the Hate was very limited in what that toon could do, so got her some stones and a mythic to give her a little more punch and versatility.

I'm usually to busy doing something to watch chat text go by, in fact, GC is currently turned off, just Alliance is on. Doing BoDs of late for mining tools. Got 70 some of both sturdys, about 50 Gargoyle pickaxes, and need to do a bunch of Prospector Tools. Added four vendors to the roof, just need to stock them and then set up my new bazaar vendor to buy goods.

So I just looked at my notes for Siege for March. Here's my actual activity:

Trade Orders: 17
Ambitious Queen runs: 7
Tmaps: 6
Navrey runs: 4
Pirating runs: 3
Lanterns farmed: 2 (out of 6 frustrating attempts)
Corgul x 1
Travesty x 1
Eoden pit x 1
Dragon Turtle x 1
Barracoon x 1
Lady Mel x 1

Those are pretty low numbers for me, but in fairness 90% of that happened in the first 2 weeks of March. I became so frustrated with constantly putting folks on chat ignore (Siege has had a nice increase in activity, but a marked decrease in chat civility) that I spent the last two weeks mostly messing around on Legends. By way of comparison, the last two days there I did 4x Andos and 5x Medusa and farmed Covetous about 8x.

Hopefully things will smooth over on Siege, as it is nothing makes sense in chat right now because I don't see half of many conversations.
