What can necro/mages take down.

I have a necro/mage, I'm a noob and it's my first character. I have 7 skills to work on: Necro, Eval, SS, Magery, Meditation, Swordsmanship and resisting spells. I hope to get these all to GM lvl. I want to get my Str to 1oo get Dex to 15 and get Intelligence to 115. This is what I hope to achieve later but my question is what will I be able to kill when I reach an ideal stat set as this. I know it's an odd question but I really like UO's varieties and want to know a few big game things I will be capable of killing. For all you Necro/mages what interesting creatures can you kill and how hard is it to kill for you. Start bragging now.

Well for my template I went without Swords and went 120 in other skills mentioned. This char does very well at champ spawns though I find mages are quite often the first targetted during raids but ignoring the PvP aspect which to be honest I havent tried to learn he does well.

I also can solo any of the rooms in the Doom Gauntlet fine though I havent taken down a DF just seems like it would take forever on my own.

Like any other template it is learning what spells work best at what times and when to heal, but a necro/mage is an easy template to train for the damage it can produce.

Interesting I thought necro/mages were supposed to be hard but that was a long time ago. this seems good for me because I want to solo hard places like doom. It seems like good news. I wish more ppl would post though. What is a DF?

I have a necromancer in training. Usually playing a "straight" mage it was a bit difficult getting used to all the new spells and combos. All the spells a necro mage can cast and their combinations was the hardest part for me to get used to. However if your used to say an archer, the number of spells and combos may be the most difficult thing to adjust to.

From a damage potential and defensive potential the necro mage may be one of the most balanced character templates. i.e. you can deal a lots of damage and it takes a lot of damage to kill ya!

DF = Dark Father, he is the boss champ that spawns once all the rooms are done in the gauntlet. Usually need a couple of players attacking to take him down since he spawns other monsters its tough for any template to solo.
