Guild Information
ABOUT YOUR MEMBERSHIP
There are few obligations to guild membership:
*Have fun.
*When you are recruited into guild, an emmisary can add you.. At that time you should have decided on your guild title. Please think of an appropriate guild title--no "KillAs" or "DuDEz" please. Please try to make it appropriate to the sea or fishing.
*You do NOT need to be a GM fisher to join. We can help you gain fishing skill. Also, we are open to non-fishing characters if they fit in with guild goals.
*We have no "official" rules of conduct, but we expect our members to be mature, to exercise good judgment, and to abide by OSI's terms of agreement. In general, no stealing from other guild members; no pestering, harassing, or griefing; and no foul language. Instances of abuse will be investigated and may result in removal from the guild.
*There are currently no dues requirements.
*Did I mention, have fun?
ABOUT FCB, GREAT LAKES FLEET
*Our Fleet Captain is Gem (ICQ 11944519) (
[email protected])
*We are fun-loving fishers and salty dogs. We try to do different outings for fun and profit. Activities we regularly schedule include:
— Guild fishing trips (days and times vary; keep an eye on the guild calendar described below.)
— Periodically we hold a public net toss at the Buc's Den docks (Trammel). It's great fun! We always need donations of nets from the crew (we go through about 30-40 in an hour.)
*We do ask for donations of whatever you can spare for both the fleet treasury and for prizes for our shard events. We always need nets for our net events--they can always be given to Gem or leave in the guild-sharing keg on top of FCB Fishmarket.. Once you are friended at the FCB, there are lock-down chests and kegs you can leave them in.
*On Trammel, we have a Fish Market! It is on the Yew/Minoc road just southeast of the guard post near the large desert. If you are more familiar with the dungeons, it is northwest of Covetous. Map can be found at:
http://thefcb.squarespace.com/gallery/great-lakes-fcb/11316531
*We also have a Bait Shop in new Maginica. You can vend there for free as well.
The guild stone is at the Market. This is our primary guildhall--there is frequently a crewmate there. At HQ we have two closed wooden barrels behind the wall separating the main hall from the tavern. These have locked down keys to our main fishing boat and ferries (in the keg) and runebooks to IDOCs and house spots in the closed barrel.
There are crates in the center open to friends. Please take things in there if you need them or leave items for guild use.
The main hall is used to house members' vendors.
You are welcome to place a FREE vendor at the FCB Trammel FishMarket or the FCB Bait Shop in Maginica—but if you do, you MUST follow these rules or your vendor will be kicked. (Sorry to be strict, but it is important that we maintain a good customer base.)
1)KEEP STOCKED.
2) Try to keep your prices on the “reasonable” side. Use the prices listed in our price list on the discussion board—or stratr a discussion there.
3) Please drop runes to advertise sometimes at major banks and other prominent places.
