Actually, this is a true story. We're now calling her "the Wet Bandit".

At least I am pretty sure it was her, and I think she had help. One of our other cats fights with her and they must have gotten into a pretty big one right on top of my bathroom vanity.

Result: Water turned on full blast, towel in sink, water left running for up to 48 hours, welcome to my swamp!

Thank goodness I am in "good hands" and they apparently cover "acts of cat"

So if your declaring war on the water might I suggest a good place to get your game on would be oh I don't know how bout the water barrels located by the swamp(if you have to ask where then your not looking) as they are an eye sore then tackle the ones by luna. And how bout a hint as to your original shard to keep the wheels turning so to speak. As you arrived here maybe you'll stick around. I arrived from Lake Austin and won't go back as this shard is where it's at.

Most everyone i played with in UO has quit and gone to other games. I knew Big D from chessy and was in a guild with him but didn't quite care for him he was a real ****** imo. I played on Siege long time ago and just wondering around i've noticed water barrels EVERYWHERE!

I can see old guild abbrevs. that were such an active part of UO/ Chesapeake back in the day that I end up going down some ancient trip down UO memory lane like BBZ, OiN orig.Koc, CIB, BIC, AT and so many others and their guilds, guild tags, over time.

Well empty barrels filled with lotsa water once were a spiffy outdoor jousting arena that Aeric had in old Myth town village. I had all his barrels after he passed away rl, and had thought to revive his outdoor jousting arena again one day.

I probably should not have put them in my front yard cuz now his barrels are gone. Well not all of them but it took 40 to make the jousting arena outdoors and he never did believe in hosting everything .........in some guild house.

So lotsa water barrels filled to the max, can make a spiffy jousting arena for a player run event out in the public fresh air.

Ah well.

But they don't block your movement, so what use were they except for a visual outline??

Block house placement (temporarily), lag up a screen, a kind of fence around the property, a trail from a gate to a house.. all kinds of semi-useless things.

You can also use them to maintain an aquarium.

Just get an empty jug and go to the docks in any town, fill the jug from the barrel (usually it stays empty so 1 jug should do) one click on the jug, target a barrel with water in it, you now have an empty barrel and you can pick it up.

Place them at your chosen spot, use jugs full of water and fill the barrel. I like 5 water in mine, but 1 will make a barrel look full.
