It happens on TC1 but it shouldn't on your character's home shard.

Edit: Sorry, I misread. If you can select it from the titles menu, then it's no harm I guess .

I didnt get the title on my home shard, but the char I made a copy of to test and then xfer'd off Origin, now has the option to add Of Origin to my title.

Yes, that has been in for a while. I think the OP is referring to the "of Great Lakes" part following the characters name though.

I think you posted to the wrong thread, but to answer what might happen:

There probably wont be enough plots to fit all players to a single shard, for multiple shards for this purpose: there are different plot sizes and house types and players will demand their items (rares etc.) to be transferred too and its not easy to carry houses one by one to the designated spots. I'm also not sure if they consider opening a new shard while they're having a hard time filling the existing ones and there are transfer tokens available for players who want to move to a crowded shard.

I copied a character last night, and after the copy completed, "of Europa" was available as a title on my home shard.
Overhead name -> Rewards
