(WARNING) Quest rewards bug!!!

Do not try to collect a reward from a quest if your backpack cannot hold more weight/items because the reward will go poof!

It seems that the carpet vendor do it too, but I'm not sure about that (it happen to me only 1 times and the carpets was not on the ground...)

Yeah I learned this the hard way with the Museum.

I turned in a Percolem quest and got my reward then I was overweight and couldnt g anywhere.

I did a museum quest yesterday with a full backpack, and it worked perfectly. The quest giver refused to hand out the reward with a correct message, so I emptied the backpack, got back to him and then was able to finish the quest and receive the reward.
Don't know what went wrong in your case.

This is why everyone should carry at least one BoS on them.

to me its happened almost 3 times, here is the situation:

backpack items: 122-> try to get the reward-> backpack can keep few items but not the entire bag (6 or more items inside) -> bag deleted and quest completed
