If there is a flaw in chess as a game of war it is this .

Unlike war the rules of chess are constant the pieces unchangable you will never win the heart of a rook or the mind of a knight they are deaf to your arguments and so be it.

The goal of a chess game is total annihilation.

But in war even as the blood beats in your ears and you race after your enemy
there is the hope that saner minds than yours will stop you before you reach your target.

in war unlike chess rules can be changed truces can be called the greatest of enemies can become the best of friends .

In War there is Hope.

The thing about chess is your not worried about your knight being a spy. Or your rook being some punk from a prodo shard running around draining everyone of thier resources. Chess is much more simple, dealing with people is a whole new ballgame.

You may think this but I noticed how quickly a lot of the JSV alliance left factions when the reality of stat loss set in. But then isnt that why they play so much chess 20 minutes at a time. The only break in the game is a quick field death and right back to it.

My experience of the game: Chess , over the last 30 years , both in tournaments
and out, leaves me wondering that your opinion fails because one has nothing to
do with the other. But, people can say what they want on this forum.

But, why do you think that people are really playing the game of War?
War is not a game. If it is a game in your opinion then you must know that as
a game the goal is to disarm your opponent, mostly by killing them, and occupying
territory. There is always an endgame in most Wars, and some are just draws.
Ultima Online is not the same as the game of War. Ultima Online lacks depth of
consequences. Death is not permanent in Ultima Online. In War, people do
accept the consequences placed upon the dead and bury them. That memory
lingers.
In Chess, the endgame results in Checkmate or a draw! There is no consequences
placed upon the next game of Chess.

Are you seeking a method of placing consequences upon those you play with in
Ultima Online? How would any game action ever change the outcome of the next
fight? I sure that you can kill that other player and loot! But, that is it! You
will have no further effect in the game.

Oh, by the way, what do you mean by "In War there is hope"? Hope for what?

Maybe I spoke to soon, Im not quite sure if you like tammers on the field or not?
Still up in the air about that one?

But after I witnessed the gimpness at my Yew house. 6 beetle's and 6 other pets standing outside my house with only puffy and I,

I was Shoked, I thought you would have actually tried to make a diffrenece with the "Alliance" Sad! I wish I could understand the concept of thinking. We had like four people on, and thought that just maybe, we could have a nice fight.

Ah well.... whatever, i guess theres "NO HOPE?"

Lets get something straight, We ran stealth tammers for a bit and Rocked all of you guys which sent all you skirts right outta factions, But after doing so, we chose to go back to "PvP templates"

We should rename SP to tammer wars, KoC could run any temp and Rock you with it as we have shown, You guys have to run it, do to.....

1# Lack of Skill
2# Lack of leadership
3# Poor leadship (what there is of it)
4# Disorganization
5# Lack of team work
6# Selfishness
7# Very Egotistical

What you guys will never get into your thick skulls is what makes KoC speacial, is the selfless- non attitude giving people in it, Were good because of everyone in the guild respects one another and will Do anything for one another, thats why we can field half the numbers against 14 pets and still kill more then we bring...how can we do that???

Oh yes! its because we hack right???

Amanda left the game, not just factions - it had nothing to do with KOC. He is back. Dunno about Twilight, I'm sure he had a reason and it wasn't KOC or tamers. AOE only had two characters who were active pvp. Both characters are the same person. AOE left because its members wanted to, again, nothing to do with KOC.

As far as lying, I have not lied at all. As I said, KOC has not caused a single person to leave the alliance or factions. I didn't say some people didn't get out of factions. Some people got into factions who were not in before. The actual number of people from the alliance in factions has not really changed much. The point is, and always has been, although you seemed to miss it, that KOC has not caused anything. You guys are good at pvp, I've never denied that. But your egos seem to make you think that you actually effect what people do. That so idiotic that its laughable.

As far as connection, its my turn to accuse you of lying. I would love to hear of what member of KOC pvps with a ping of 200.

Make no mistake, you have the towns because we let you have them. You didn't have to fight for them or guard them, which is the only way you have ever gotten them. Be on guard though, when we want them back, we will take them. In the meantime, use the opportunity to actually learn how to make the most of controlling the towns. There is far more to it than placing vendors and guards all over creation.

Maybe you can't Milord but I can...

There are moments when WyRm has wonderful ping but most of the time it is not... WyRm would play more if he could get good ping... Some times he will start off good then it will go bad on him jumping from 120/140 to the old uo 2step... So then it is the same story ... "[censored] connection MiLords and Ladies. Let me relog to try to get better again" And most times it doesn't work and he leaves because it is unplayable...
