Wanted = Colored Spell Icons in 2d

I have my spell set in order based on the type of damage. I would really like to be able to customize these with colored art instead of the black and tan scroll type colors. Anyone have info on doing this? Like what file would need to be edited.

No idea if thats possible in 2D. It is in the EC client though, Have you tried using that?

Can't I have one of the video card that is not the list that is not compatible also did not like the feel of it. I don't want to get into the whole use something else fight. I simply need info on HOW TO. I have seen UOA be able to change the type of creature I look like on MY end so I am more than sure this could be changed for me to see a different art on my spell icons. I am sure some patches could revert any change I make, but that is OK too.

its a nice idea, but no idea on how to do it. It would prolly take the altering of core game files id think. As for having this ability added to the 2d, doubtful since itd prolly be a large undertaking since the codes old. Would love to have a power at be at least take a quick look to see if itd be easy to do or not. Perhaps somehow make dye tubs dye spell icons hehe.

Heck I wish they could put locking icons in 2d like the old 3d had.

Yeah, the locking icons like in 3D really should have been worked into the 2D client before they retired the 3D one...

Speaking of... are there any old 3D client users out there that still feel stranded? I wonder how many of them went to the CC as opposed to KR/EC...
