If you just went orange then just die and when you res you will enter stat but after that you will be back to normal.

If you joined VvV you will need to resign from the guild menu.

It takes 8 hours of in game time iirc. burns off like counts, you have to be logged in to make it tick off.

It doesn't need to be a VvV player that kills you for it to go. You can kill yourself using a trap box or whatever for the same effect.
