Event: Virtue Patrol of the Active VvV Cities
Date and Time: THIS SUNDAY, May 31st 3:30pm Est - 5:00pm Est
A Kingdom Besieged
Dupre was frustrated. Britannia was relying completely on foreign armies to preserve its cities from the attacks of these Vice armies. Each time he called the Virtuous men and women of Britannia to arms, he summoned only a disgruntled barbaric mass of thugs and murderers who were as likely to help, as stab you in the back. He felt it was only the potential reward of successful mission that kept them from turning on him and wondered what would happen when the treasury ran dry and no rewards were left to be had.
Had all the Virtuous truly departed Britannia for foreign nations like Gilfane? Were there none left in Britannia who still fought for what was good and right? Or had years of mismanagement left him to lead an army of brutes and ruffians?
Even with the new governors working with Lord Blackthorn, Britannia seemed as disjointed as ever. Why weren't these elected officials of the people doing more for their towns, organizing militia's to fight off attacks, patrolling to keep citizens safe? Wasn't that how it was suppose to work!
Dupre slammed his fist down onto the table! He sat alone in the dark, pondering Britannia's problems, and wondered if perhaps it was he and Lord Blackthorn who were failing the citizens and not the other way around. Even if that were true, he could think of no solution that would fix the problems they faced.
Hours later still sitting in the dark, Dupre lit a candle, and picked up his pen and did the only thing he could, he began to write to his foreign allies for help.
"Dear Members of the White Council, Britannia seeks your assistance in patrolling the towns from the armies of Vice. My forces are under tremendous strain from the constant attacks and we ask your assistance in patrolling the towns...."
