Does anyone know how to change the color of the bar? I find it hard to see my weight.

Control panel, appearance and personalization, customize colors.
Not sure if this will work with the xp-compatibility mode which you seem to be running.
Actually just tried it myself, and it only seems to change some window borders.. what a lousy customization option.
Update: Control Panel, Appearance and personalization, Change the theme, Windows Classic. An ugly workaround but it might work for you.

This is the first version of windows I've used where I can't personalize my own theme.. I'm kind of ticked off, even if I never bothered to try personalizing it before.

You sound so happy to have that windows 95 look. Glad it worked.
Well, I am not happy that everything now has that look, but I will make that sacrifice so that I can see my weight total without having to tilt the screen back and forth to a crazy angle!
