Virtues Decay Rate

Has anyone else had problems with virtues decaying rapidly?

I just worked up Sacrifice via the Hag's quest after losing almost all of it a few months ago due to not playing as much. About an hour ago, I reached the final path and had a big lunch to celebrate. Now, when I logged back in, I get the following messages:

"You have lost some Sacrifice"
"You have lost some Compassion"
"Your resurrectons through Sacrifice have been reset."

I then notice that I have lost the final dot towards Knight of Sacrifice.

The same thing has happened to me. You'll also notice that the decay rate is obviously greater than the gain rate, which means you'll have to continue doing the quest daily to make up for it. This needs to change like with Honor so you only lose points when you use the virtue.

I'm not a fan of virtue's decaying. I've given up trying to maintain virtue's on multiple characters. I max out and it just disappears all too fast.

I used the sage for compassion+3 bravehorn(in fel kill-respawn) per day for 10-12 days to get knight from scratch. I do a bravehorn or 3 every few days to keep it up while waiting for a group or something. It literally only takes a few seconds if you have the runes and can gate.

As far as sacrifice goes I hardly use it anymore but when I did a lot of soloing I would sacrifice almost daily on a hopefully paragon succubus. Its more about keeping fame up then anything. If ya dont mind grinding fame in fel staying knight is easy!

But yea, it is maintenance and that sux. I kind of like how honor works better then decay. But with something like compassion a full dot per res is simply out of the question.

kill the goblins in the abyss, each one dies in like 2 hits and has more fame than a balron. (I don't pretend to understand why, but they do)

You can get lord from 0 fame in just a few minutes there, then sacrifice that to a lich and you're good for the week.

Virtues decay a little one time a week. Its very easy to maintain.

First work on your Virtues untill you see the message you can not go higher in the Virtue anymore.

For Valor just whack the shadow wisps at Spirituality Champ Spawn.

For Compassion when you are at Knight do 3 escorts after you got the decay message.

Honor never decays unless you use it.

For Sacrifice get your fame to at least 2500 fame and sacrifice it on a daemon.

My Virtues decay on Monday and i made it a habit for years to work a half a hour a week on a Thursday to work them all back to the cap.

THIS! Since there's no way to tell how many self-rez you have left. And with rez-killing 35,000 hit point mobs and Gank squads, 3 is not really enough anymore - maybe 1 per x-amt of dots. While still useful, it's just another item on the Outdated list

I have made a few requests that these numbers be made available to us in the same manner as Fame and Karma. Additionally, at least in the EC, your title is not show when you mouse over the virtue symbol. This makes it even harder to tell your progress if you have missed some time and lost points.
