Just curious what's in line for being fixed/tweaked/balanced next. Lots of things have been posted with no response from Dev's. The only thing that's been posted is input of other players. Have you noticed? And if you have what are you doing?
Not for me. I'm more concerned about balanced game play then looks.Or at least an EC patch. A large one.
Yes please, Crashing to desktop is no fun!Or at least an EC patch. A large one.
There has never been and will never be any balance in UO.Not for me. I'm more concerned about balanced game play then looks.
:wags finger at basara:I primarily want to know when the next publish is coming because it finally fixes the bug in crustacean weights in the fishing quests, that popps has been pancakes constantly about (Frankly, most fishers are itching for this, it's just that popps brought it up several times a week for 3 months, and that annoyed some of the more anal posters in doing so).
That said, are those complaining about the 2-minute video THAT ignorant not to tell, just from watching it, that curse.com or the Bioware PR people editing it with them took a BUNCH of different answers from a MUCH larger set of videotaped interviews, some of them completely out of context? You don't put together anything like that and ask each person ONE quick question, totally cold, then wrap. My guess is that there was probably 30-90 minutes footage those clips were cobbled together from to make one long, 2-minute answer to ONE question.
The first part of the answer, about the classic shards, appeared before the intro, and didn't even have its QUESTION given so that a typical viewer would have a clue about what the hell Cal was talking about! Only by reading Cal's thread here do you link up the common language between the two and realize that opening statement was about the Classic Shard issue.
If that video was clunked together by the marketing/PR people, they need to be canned. IF it was edited by curse.com to be that way, they need to get better editors.

*ahem*If that video was clunked together by the marketing/PR people, they need to be canned.
My money's on it being intentionally given to Curse, for two reasons.:wags finger at basara:
*ahem*
Who provided the clip to curse?
Who smuggled the supersecret State of the Game out of fortress EA ...
try this hypothesis:
a covert operative(inside of curse) alerted cal to the "possesion" and posting of the clip ... so as cal could "get out ahead of it" ... and remain "unassociated" ... blameless ...
Actually since turning off v-sinc I hardly crash at all now..Yes please, Crashing to desktop is no fun!

Firstly, if you play favorites with fansites, you end up pissing off the ones that don't get as much attention, and that can lead to bad press.
Secondly, say they gave it to us - We'd run with it and our already-UO-aware users would see it. They gave it to Curse, which not only reached a wider audience, outside the UO communities, but it also reached the UO communities.
Bonus third one!
Curse hosts UO mods for WAR, and the Curse Client allows easy management of them, so they gonna lurrrve Curse for providing a valuable service.
...also reached the UO communities.
I think we are basically being told to go away, to be replaced by more ignorant players that are easier to please.
Exactly how I feel.
actually ... they are just trying to keep the line "moving"I think we are basically being told to go away, to be replaced by more ignorant players that are easier to please.
