Vicious Wound?

How do you cure a Vicious wond from a Kepetch? I've tried allsorts but it just keeps getting worse untill it wears off or i die.

OMG and can we also get a little icon in the buff bar letting us know we have a vicious wound? Super cool idea, but really big pain to deal with HAHA.

Try bandaging yourself?

I don't know, I'm just guessing. If you've got 0 healing, see if it at least gives a different message when you try.

We tried bandages, heals, greater heals, cures, arch cures, pots and apples. The only thing that worked was waiting for the timer to run out and just healing up HP after every tick.

Vicious wound is no joke. After you're inflicted, every subsequent tick of it, the amt of HP you lose increases, and you also lose Stam as well.

Its an awesome addition to the game and one that will certainly keep me on my toes while out hunting for ingredients.

There is no heal for a vicious wound other than to keep healing until the effect wears out.

And, as far as the weapon question goes, no there isn't any. At least none that I've seen or heard of, yet. LOL

During testing, the only thing I found that worked to stop the festering was to apply a bandage, even if my character didn't have healing skill. Just keep trying and hopefully at some point you will smother yourself with enough bandages to make it stop.

Those kepetch are nasty little critters, that is for sure. Went several rounds with one on Sunday in test. The end result was kepetch: 4, Tina: 1. In the end, he got what he deserved for ambushing me so many times!

How about chivalry? Remove curse spell?

It works for mortal wound so perhaps it works for viscous wound.

I just experienced the festering wound as well, healing @110 w/ a lot of HP Regen items, annoying. Didn't have a problem killing it, but I was actually after Lava Elementals (which are Not an elemental) on the next screen. Went there & got ganked, lagged, dead. No problem, I have 1 self res left. Dropped down a screen, took a look around, all safe, rezzed. Got on ethy, hit bandage macro - dead. Took a look around just to make sure I was still alone. Long walk back to town.

Yes, it can & will, last after death, it must wear off.
