Thank you, Veterans. You've done your part, and most of us are very grateful. Those that aren't, well, you did it for their rights too, and I'm sorry they feel that way.

I'm not a Vet, but many in my family are. I thank them so much for their service- some served willingly and some were drafted. Some will talk about their experiences, and one Uncle who served as MedTech on the front lines of Vietnam refuses to talk about it even today. Most of my family came back, a few missing body parts - but none of them were unaffected by their service. I can't even begin to imagine what they went through.

THANK YOU to all the Vets for serving our country, and protecting my family, friends, neighbors, and even those who don't understand or appreciate your sacrifices.

The 'Nam frontlines were not anything one needs to talk of or hear about. I wasn't there but 3 former coworkers were. The little they told wasn't pleasant and I was a Medic in the Air Force.

For those that have served and are serving I tip my hat, offer my thanks and wish nothing but the best for you and yours. Two HS buddies are remembered this day ... they just never came back.

One of my dad's friends did a tour in Vietnam. He described how he and his buddies pooled their money to buy some farmer's cow, then took the cow out and shot it with a rocket for ****s and giggles. The farmer picked up the chunks because, hey, the crazy Yankees already paid for the cow so it's free meat.

I don't know why I typed this. Your post just made me want to share a funny Vietnam story. Namely the only funny Vietnam story I know.
