Vendor Question

If someone placed a vendor in your vendor house but is no longer around and their vendor has dropped into your moving crate, how can you remove him? It is my understanding that I can't sell the house (not that I want to at this point) until all is removed...any ideas????

I thought after it dropped you could just remove all the items from the crate and then it is gone.

According to some of the posts I've found from google, it looks like the vendor should stay for 7-10 days, after which you'll have access to everything that was on the vendor. Some of the posts were old though, so I'm not sure how accurate they are anymore.

this should still be the case, it happened to me once and after a week i was able to have access to it.
