Vampiric Embrace Clarification

Ok, I searched through these forums for a while and haven't been able to find the information I'm looking for. I read the vampiric embrace description here and it says that vampire form grants mana and stamina regeneration bonuses plus 20 life leech poison resist blah blah. However, the description from some other sites did not indicate a stamina/mana regen boost at all. What is the final word? Did it formerly have those bonuses and they have since been removed? Or, if they're still there, how much of a bonus is it?

The only thing vampiric embrace gives you is a life leech ability of 20% and immunity to lower level poisons. Its mostly used for the Sampire template to leech massive amounts of life.

There is another spell called "wraith form" that grants you a mana leeching ability and the spell "lich form" that grants you a mana regeneration ability.

My sampire seems to have Mana and Stam Regen when in Vamp Form. I also use a wep with all three leeches, and during combat my mana, stam, and HP all stay leveled off. I can't honestly say if it is the form or the wep that does it.

There is most definitely a mana/stamina regen boost to vamp form.

Ok also i'm curious to know if the mana regen bonus from lich form is considered an item bonus (therefore capped at 12) or is it seperate (and stackable with items and meditiation)

Its not a mana regen number like MR2 or anything. Its a set number of mana points restored over time...I believe its 12 or so mana every 3 seconds. So I would assume that stacks on top of the 12MR cap since its not actually an item property. Also if you summon a shadow wisp while i lich form you can receive even more mana!!

You can see them if you look at your character sheet with the Enhanced Client. The MR boost is 4 and the Stamina Regen is 15. At least that's what it shows for my elf without any suit items on.

Yeah, I'm downloading the enhanced client for just that purpose. I can't stand to actually play the enhanced (computer's too slow), but it would be nice to see that stuff Thanks for the info!

There is no cap on Mana Regen anymore. The cap was removed close to a year ago. Now, it is set up on a diminishing returns system meaning that your MR is based on your Meditation/Focus skill and Intelligence.

Ok, does 1 mana regen still mean 1 mana/10 seconds?

I don't know the exact formula for it. There used to be a calculator that Noxin created that allowed you to imput your MR from items, Intelligence, and Med/Focus skills and it gave you the amount of mana you regened per second...I had it bookmarked but it seems that its not there anymore.

I do remember that 100/120 Med gets better MR than 100/120 Focus. Whenever I am training a mana intensive skill like Magery or Necromancy, I will us a character that I can put both Med and Focus on, load up with 100 LRC, 40 LMC, and at least 15 MR from items, then go into Lich Form and cast a Shadow Wisp....the mana regen is insane if you have over 125 INT

i believe its 3 mr and 10 sr. also its probally considered item based(lich form mr is) so it would be affected by med, the mr part anyway. the rest is immunity to poisons lvl 1-4 and life leach dosen't work like the hit spell effect.you leach a straight 20% of the melee damage that u do. Although they change things so much its hard to be certain

Yes this is on my elf sampire in vampire form without any clothes/armor. He has 0 meditation or focus. And JOAT is not impacting it.
