Hello All!
Ok, i am back. I said I would update when I did. Its been a rough week. Anyone on my Facebook I am sure has seen this. We had yet ANOTHER flood in our downstairs Living room. I live in a Bi level house so we have two living rooms. My daughter rents the whole downstairs from me which consist of a living room, washer dryer area, bedroom and a bathroom. Well, our sump pump seized up and flipped on itself and we flooded out. Sigh. My poor daughter has lost just about everything. Our back yard looks like the ghetto. We had to throw out the door almost all her furniture, computer desk, computer system itself, Monitor, pulled up the rugs again. There is dirt everywhere. We had to replace the blinds, we are working on looking for a cheap carpet. Top it all off, the very next day, a pipe burst above our heater and now we are going to have to replace the heater. It is a mess! AND, on top of all that, guess who is going to be a grandma!? Yup, im going to be a very young very gorgeous ( anyone who has seen me knows that parts a lie ), cool hip Grandma. My birthday was on Friday. I just turned 42. UHG. 42! Its OK though, still young enough to be able to chew my own food before the baby does it for me.
My daughter is 22. I am so glad she is still home with me and I hope its a girl. I will try very hard to back off and let her be the mommy. So now, she is a mess having to replace everything and with a baby coming, she is so afraid it will happen again. God, I hope not. I am very happy we have a roof over our heads, most people do not. But all that we have had to endure in this house, Im really starting to hate it.
I am not cancer free yet. But feeling MUCH better. My hair started to fall out from all the radiation treatments. Had to be away from my family for a week. I guess I glowed like the Unstable Time Rift. Was sad. Dinner plate put on floor at top of stairs they run, I open door slowly like in a horror flick and walk down the hall to get my food. Bah. Decided to cut all my hair off so to speak. It was falling out so bad. I got tired of it. I had hair down to my (_|_). Well, its above my shoulders now. Love it! never thought I would. And of course, there is purple in it everywhere. Figured, if I am going to lose it, balls to the wall, right?
I am STILL looking for my rose if anyone knows where I can get it. Sadly, the one I had is gone. Really made my heart drop. Something how a pixel-ed item can bring you to tears or take a breath. We invest so much of our time into this game we create friends and family that this literally becomes, home. So when something is lost and or not locked down or forgotten about, it can sting.
Ok, point to this post.. I am in search of something for my mother for Valentines Day in game. Something nice. Something pretty. Something she deserves. As you may know, my mother is 72 years old and has been playing this game right along with us from its conception. She met her husband here and I myself met my husband here 18 years ago. Pretty cool. Was thinking of doing an in game wedding. That be cool!
Now my mother is legally blind. She has a very big monitor and has the settings up so high our little toons look like midgets on her screen. So, if you come across , Quilter and she is typing in LARGE FONT, she isnt yelling. She is trying to see. Quilter is the famous 500gp grab bags at KFC Town. She enjoys making them but in this game, this shard, 500gp isn't going to buy her something I am sure she wants. I am not even sure what to get her. Thats where i need your help. Do any of you have suggestions and or items you are selling reasonably priced that I may give her for Valentines day? Any and all input would be nice and I would love to see your items your willing to sell.
