Hi guys

All I want to know is if you use the rocks at Navrey i.e klick on all three pillars, will it influence the drop rate of Navrey?
In other words will the droprate be lowered? Many thanks in advance!

I dont think it affects drop rate but it will affect who gets the drop if multiple people are their. Timing is everything on when and who drops it. My word of advice is if you are there with others LET THEM DROP THE ROCKS. This gives you more of a chance to cast spells for extra damage while they are busy running around.

That is probably the most egoistic post I've read all week! And we're talking about UHall here...

... and it is wrong nevertheless. The amount of damage you do is irrelevant. When you get looting rights, you have the same chances for a reward as the others, no matter how much damage you delivered to Navrey.

I've never seen it confirmed one way or another. My experience is that matters on who gets the drops. And the triggerer of the rocks gets all that damage credited to themselves. It is hard to outdamage the rock dropper.

My problem with the rocks is webbed melee characters get hit by rocks triggered by other blue characters... and usually killed. I think other characters should not take rock damage. It also deals out too much damage. I think it should take no more than a quarter of Navrey's life away.

Hmm? thought the rock damage was neutral?
Rock damage IS neutral.

As for drops being equal for any person with looting rights, thats what the devs say but in the 500+ naverys ive done my scenerio i posted above yeilds better results for me anyways.

nothing egotistic about it, it is all about timing with the rocks when your there with multiple people. You dont want someone being able to hit the rocks when she gets less than 30%, takes away your ability to rise to the top in damage using WoD when the rocks take her down to nothing and kill her off. Either give your advice or go troll someone elses posts.

I only used the rocks when I was with guild mates and was announced or when I would solo her.

2 ways I will solo her. One with a chiv archer with a balanced bow, 180 stamina, enhanced bandies, and pots. I use rocks then.

The other way is with my tamer and a greater drag. UOA macro combo of vet with bandies first and throwing greater heal on target. I had it timed perfectly to pull a double heal. If the drag would get poisoned the bandage would cure it about .5 of a sec before greater heal go off on target. I dont use the rocks on thsi setup since the greater drag needs to be healed and cured at all times.

I love when WOD characters cry about missing the last 20% of a fight because they are useless the other 80% of the time.

Useless for only the char that know NO other spells. With my template I guarantee you I can get more damage WITHOUT WoD compared to your archer or Tamer any-day.

rock damage isn't attributed to any player. it's "environmental" for lack of a better word.

as you know, multiple players can each attack the same creature. when said creature dies and players loot, whatever loot the creature had is split amongst the players automatically when they view its corpse. ever killed a barracoon? you get maybe 5-10 items when you view the corpse. but 2 min later, the corpse "goes public" and you see 50 items.

well i noticed when i did navery solo that there wouldn't be much on its corpse. i had to wait for it to go public to see the rest. that told me some of the loot was being hidden because the damage being done by the rocks wasn't attributed to me.

first, i don't know if receiving an item from navery (as I have never got one) is based on the RNG, or if it's based on the amount of damage, if it must be looted, or if it appears in your pack.

if it is not RNG driven and doing more damage gives a better chance then someone running around doing rocks is doing environmental damage and not adding to their total damage done to navery.

I think looting rights cap out. I usually do fight navrey late at night... sometime w/triple clients. Mystics x3 casting rc w/it in discord. Right now I am training one mystic by spamming hailstorm w/a spider slayer. The other two stay put. The gold split is always even though the queen's loyalty points for the mystic in training varies greatly depending on how much extra damage I do above the other two char's rc's.

So I think more damage only helps to a to a point. After a certain percentage of the mob's health is taken, your share will not improve.

As for the op's question, I have fought navrey a lot in groups and solo. I have only ever received a drop fighting solo and almost always use the rocks.
