Using masteries for skill gain, still working or no?

Taming specifically. Don't seem to be having any gains at all from this, but apparently it was working a week ago.

Gained chiv using holy fist last night :/ would assume all skills still gain then

Oh.... I forgot the default setting for the classic client is to only show skill gain every full point, not every gain. Whoops. Was wondering why I didn't see any messages pop up even for the guaranteed gain, then checked the skill window and noticed it actually had gained a little.
