General Description of League of Light

The League of Light (LoL) is a Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Neo-Guild playing on the side of Order on an open RVR
(Realm Versus Realm) Server based in North America. Focusing mainly on the extensive PVP (Player Versus Player) aspect of the game,
LoL is a highly strategic, high performance guild that accepts players who range from "hardcore" to
"slightly more than casual" activity. LoL's organization is a chain of command to ensure the guild remains

What is a Neo-Guild?

Neo-Guild is a term created by myself, Veygnarik, to distinguish our type of guild from the stereotypical guild.
One example of the many differences between our type of guild against other kinds of guilds is our focus upon
Player Specialty (PS).
While many would consider PS to be simply the concentration of their class or very generalized play style,
LoL strives to bring out the most of every member's unique potential through numerous ways including:
Cell Matching, Tactical Maneuvers, Leadership Positions and much more.
This Neo-Guild also promotes the idea of providing its members much more than a simple tag and emblem,
each member being given certain assignments and roles in which they can contribute to the guild
and can receive benefits from the guild.


Member Requirements

Members are required to have the following items:
Ventrilo (Voice Chat Program)
Intention to be active
A degree of maturity
A desire for excellence
While not necessarily required, the following items are highly suggested:
Microphone
Open-Beta / Head Start Access

8/4/08: Guild Update (Alpha Phase --> Phase I)

Short Version:

Beginning Strategies Set
Guild Scheduling Underway

I am happy to announce that LoL has entered Phase I of guild policy, strategy, and recruitment. While numerous things are involved with the guild having shifted to Phase I from Alpha Phase, entering Phase I means that we are now up for open recruitment.

Any and all players are welcome to come by, see what we're all about, and find out if we are indeed the right guild they wish to be in.
However, Phase I is, of course, limited in lifespan. With Phases II and III are already prepared and ready to go, the open recruitment may not be an offer that is available for very long. So we urge everyone to come and see what we're about.

Every member has a duty to the guild and the guild has to fulfill its duties to its members.

Update 8/28/08:

With our rapidly expanding guild and the dedication of our members, numerous improvements have been made to the guild. Among these are:

Our recruitment status, while still technically open, will now require all members to both apply on the forums and to be interviewed on ventrilo.
